understanding problems

understanding problems

We dig to the core of an issue. Looking at problems from different angles to get a better understanding of their causes.

This means we immerse, listen, observe, engage and converse.
Then we document and map out our findings, so we can share with others: this helps us define opportunities for real change and develop evidence based solutions.

co-design

designing together

designing together

We go beyond consultation and invite people to co-create. Bringing people earlier in the process ensures more robust results.

We work with people to generate new ideas, develop and test concepts, share expertise and continuously learn from them. We work with commissioners, managers, front line staff, users and other stakeholders: we just call them people.

prototyping

making ideas tangible

making ideas tangible

We test ideas quickly, cheaply and early, therefore improve the chances of success at later stages. Fail early, succeed sooner.

Prototyping reduces the risk of failing during expensive pilot stages and saves you money. There are many prototyping techniques, all delivering immediate responses about an idea, determining if it will work or fail. We also prototype intangible outputs such as customer experience and community dynamics.
